Training

No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you. -Joshua 1:5

Standing against the enemy requires strength and endurance. Trials are our training ground.

Scientists say that no two snowflakes are alike. Snowflakes are formed around a piece of dust, and then as the moisture collects and forms a crystal, the snowflakes are tossed and thrown about in the air seemingly haplessly and randomly. Our lives can be said to have each formed around some piece of dust. Something the enemy may have sent our way intended for our demise, and each of our paths is different. As we are tossed about in our trials and experiences we may feel like we have no control. But our Father in Heaven does. And He has said that He will never leave us or forsake us and that he makes ALL things turn out for the good for those who love God and are called according to His purposes.

Stand strong in the midst of whatever trial you are experiencing and know that your God has you in training. As a child of God, you are called according to His purpose, and He will both stand with you AND work all things out for good.
